STATEMENT OF FAITH
The mission of God's Intervention Center is to touch the lives of many with the gospel until they maximize their full potential from God, through nurture, counsel, and guidance.
That God is the Creator, and that heaven and earth and all that is therein, were created by Him.
God sent His only begotten son to be the propitiation of our sins and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Everyone deserves an opportunity to know God and enjoy the benefits of the love and life that He gives, and that all things work together for our good.
Bishop Dr. Rosemary Porbeni
General Overseer & Founding Pastor
Apostle Tare Chukuma
Bishop Dr. Rosemary Porbeni is a voice for today. She is the senior and founding pastor of God’s Intervention Center. The ministry by God’s grace is 11 years old this year 2017. Her major areas of focus are Deliverance, Healing, and Prosperity with sound Bible teaching. Her passion is to set captives free and reach the world at large with the incorruptible Word of God, focusing on the less fortunate, the incarcerated, the souls in group homes, shelters, battered women shelters, orphanages and those individuals who feel they have been given up on. Her background as a registered nurse (RN) birthed her desire to help those in need. She worked as an RN for over 35 years and retired reaching the level of Senior Director of Quality Management.
Bishop Porbeni was a diligent member of Deeper Life Church. She remained there until led by the Spirit to help her father in the Lord start his ministry, Endtime Ministries. As she faithfully served, she received several ordinations from Deaconess to Evangelist and finally as a Pastor. Her father in the Lord, Bishop Humphrey Osagiede passed away and the ministry was divided. Accepting the assignment of God for her life, Bishop decided to start her own ministry in 2006. In 2009, she was ordained as an Apostle and in 2013, she was ordained as a Bishop. To ensure that she was fully equipped for the task ahead, Bishop Porbeni returned back to school, first obtaining her Bachelors in Theology. She then completed her Masters in Theology. In 2014, Bishop Porbeni received her Doctorate in Divinity.
As a highly regarded deliverance minister, and nationally sought-after preacher, Bishop Porbeni has traveled extensively, preaching the good news of Jesus Christ and compelling the lost to come to Christ. She preaches with strong conviction, delivers an uncompromising word, and is regarded by her peers as a seasoned colleague. She believes that God has a plan for all our lives and even the devil cannot stop, prevent, or hinder our God-given destiny. Bishop Porbeni equally believes that the Church is God’s greatest weapon to combat every dart of the enemy.
Apostle Tare Chukuma is an anointed talent of this generation. She is the resident pastor of God’s Intervention Center (GIC), alongside her mother Bishop Dr. Porbeni, the general overseer. She has been part of the ministry since its inception in 2006, first starting as a sister, then moving onto a deaconess and so on until her current title as an Apostle. She is gifted in many areas of the ministry including healing, and deliverance, but her main passions are mentoring young women and assisting those who are seeking the fruit of the womb.
Apostle Chukuma, a highly anointed woman of God, has always been in church from when she was born. But as a teenager and young adult, she ran away from God’s calling upon her life, until one faithful day when she stopped running, and surrendered herself to God and to the destiny that He has for her. Since then, Apostle has been growing in grace, growing in anointing, and growing in the power of the Holy Ghost, and God has been using her to positively impact the lives of all those whom she encounters.
Apostle Chukuma is a gifted worshipper, having an anointed voice that brings down the heavens and the glory of God every time she worships. She has traveled around the country and performed in numerous concerts and at various venues. She plans to further her gospel singing career in the near future, as the Lord leads and uses her gift to make room for her.
